Michigan Football Shares Another Unattainable Air Jordan PE
The University of Michigan is one of those schools that is blessed to be part of the Nike family, meaning its more high-profile sports teams get gifted with Player Edition Jordan Brand sneakers from time to time. The latest, which was shared on the Michigan Football Twitter feed on Christmas, is an exotic Air Jordan 1 done up in the navy and maize colors of the University.
A notable feature of this PE, aside from the University color blocking, is the choice of what appear to be reptile and stingray leathers, giving the project a more custom or bespoke feel than previous college PEs.
Of course, as is the case with most University PEs, these sneakers will only be available to select members of the Michigan Wolverines Football team and coaching staff. Anyone else that wants to get their hands on a pair will need to have extremely good connections to either Michigan or Beaverton, Oregon, or very deep pockets.

Take a Look at What Could be Next Year’s “Game Royal” Nike Air Jordan 1
Aflamico aims to provide our readers with the latest updates in the sneaker world. However, we cannot verify the reliability of any unauthorized leaks or rumors unless this information is provided directly by the brands themselves.
Leaked images suggest we’ll be seeing yet another Nike Air Jordan 1 utlizing the ever-popular “royal” blue shade that has been a constant in the line since the first “Royal” AJ1 dropped in 1985. This time, though, the blue is mixed with both white and black, creating an all-new color blocking that reminds slightly of a mixture between last year’s “Game Royal” AJ1 and Hiroshi Fujiwara’s fragment design x Nike Air Jordan 1.
Nike has pushed the Nike Air Jordan 1 back to the forefront of the sneaker game, dropping 60 colorways in 2018 and a similar number in 2019. With 2020 being the model’s 35th anniversary, chances are high that we’ll be seeing some very special drops over the next twelve months.
The leak account suggests that the colorway will be released at some point in May 2020, though that has (of course) not been confirmed by Nike just yet and will likely not be confirmed for a while.
Check out the leaked images above and stay tuned for any information regarding the drop.
